My Canon PowerShot A610 fell in the water how do i make it work?

i slip fell acidently hit my camera and it fell in the water i used Qtips all over the outside i need info

Chances are your camera is ruined.  They are not waterproof.  You could call Canon at 1-800-OKCANON and ask for an estimate to fix it, but since it is 3 years old, you may not want to pay to have it fixed.  If it is possible to repair it.  Sorry that happened, as it was a nice little camera.
