My Canon video camera repair?

My camera is being really odd, it can still take pictures but whenever I put it to video it has that red flashy eject sign opping up and it says remove the casset, so i do and the casset wont come out it just makes a few noises moves a bit then stops... i dont understand! should i go get it repaired?

Strange i have no idea, what kind of casset, if it is a hi8, vhs,vhs it is possible that the actual tape is jammed or the casset.

mine did the same thing xcept it kept turning off. so the best thing to do is to go take it to get repired
