My Cat Threw Up Twice Today?

Question

Ok well the day before today I changed my cats food to wellness Core from purina and I notice she threw up twice I gave dry with a little bit of wet she ate up the all the wet but threw up there was grass in it . what happened does she need indoor food for indoor cats was it too much for her or something I DON'T WANT TO SWITCH BACK THIS IS THE FIRST SHE EVER ATE WET FOOD .

Don't just switch foods like this one this one to this one to that one, because the cat's body hasn't gotten used to the new food, or because the cat's stomach isn't "stable", enough, if you will, to handle the new food.  When buying cat food (canned or otherwise), look at the labels and search for (after you ask your vet about your cat's ordeal with the food she has and why she threw up) for something like being soft on the cat's stomach.  If you do, that might help, and it probably will.  Here's what I suggest out of all of this:

ONE- Go to your vet and ask about your cat's ordeal

TWO- after you get your doctor's opinion, go to the petstore and search for food

THREE- buy the food, and gradually mix it with the food she has now until she can fully eat the new food without her old food.

Any time you change food, you must do it gradually. Mix some of the old food in with the new food a little more each day.

Alright...no need to panic. I don't think the food is the problem here. You mentioned that grass was found in your cat's throw up - there's your problem right there. Did you recently purchase a new plant that your cat has taken an interest in? Is so, then she is probably just regurgitating indigestible fibrous materials. Alternatively, it might just be that you aren't brushing her enough, and the increasingly frequent "up-chucking" is simply a mechanism cats use to eliminate licked fur from their system.
