My Cat Won't Use The Litter Box?

It's cleaned every day.

Is it cleaned everyday? sometimes if its dirty they wont use it most cats wont anyways otherwise im not sure what the problem could be if its not a uti. good luck with that.

Is the litter being cleaned daily?  Is there enough litter in there (3-4 inches)?  Are you putting in any additives?  What we think smells nice, may be offensive to a cat.  Is it near their food dish? Would you like to eat in a stinky bathroom?  Is there another cat in the household, and if so, is there enough boxes?  

Even though you have been using the same litter, perhaps it's just not working for the cat any longer.  I'm assuming the vet did a thorough exam and found your cat healthy?  Good luck.

It may not be the litter but if she had something else happen (she may have been constipated?) she may associate it with the litter or litterbox. Try a new box and/or litter, it may help. I'm not sure what kind of litter you are using currently but clay litters have been linked to impacted cats so it might be worth trying a natural litter such as one made from wheat, pine, old newspapers etc. They're pretty easy to find if you haven't tried them already.
