  1. only feed it two meals a day & don't let it have food at any other time

  2. Set a specific time to give her food. If you constantly leave food in her bowl she going to keep eating. Its not that she's hungry but cats like to eat.

  3. give your cat less food

  4. Sometimes it's insecurity.  For instance, cats need a regular feeding schedule and if they don't get it, they're afraid they need to eat whatever they can get, NOW!  Or, are you ever gone for long, irregular periods, like overnight..?  However, that's just the way some are and you need to measure out how much food they get.

  5. my cats eat and p**p all the time and still in good shape.also leave food out all day.try playing with it or get another cat to chase them.

  6. if its a girl it might be pregnant

  7. How old is your cat?  If she's older than about 2 or 3, you can try feeding her senior food instead of regular food.  That has half the calories of regular cat food, and the cats can usually eat as much as they want.  Then when she's lost the weight, make sure that you switch back to regular cat food, and feed her a specific amount.  Pouring food out and letting cats just eat as much as they want whenever they want is a surefire way to get them to fatten up.  If you reduce the amount of food that she's getting but make sure it's enough (Purina has some guidelines on the back of their bags), that will also help her lose weight, and it's a little better than just letting her eat senior food.  Also, make sure you're playing with her every day; make her chase a laser pointer or string or something, which will help to give her a work out.

    Good luck! =)

  8. Feed your cat once a day. Do not leave food out. Feed cat in the morning only.

  9. You could help her exercise or she might be pregnant  you should put a small amount of food in her bowl at a time once in the morning once at night the night serving should be a little bigger than the morning

  10. Let it outside for ages, Or buy it toys to play with and stop feeding it so much ;) 2 Meals a day would be more than plenty for a cat
