My Cd player does not work-04 Dodge Durango

Question

After installing a new battery my cd player(6 disc) wont work, I hear it loading when I shut off the car but when I hit Mode to switch to the player it does nothing, does it need to be reset? If so how can I do that??

does your radio flash code or anything in front of it because most of the time those wont give any problems from changing battery's in them,we have about the same system and it didn't do this when changing battery's in it,try this,remove the loader and then re-load it,i have had to do this on mine for some reason,sometimes it will load them but not play when the mode button is pushed,reloading the disc changer seems to fix this problem,good luck.
