Question:

My Cd player wont play disk, please help?

The used 94 mustang i just bought came with a cd player, but unfortunately it wont work! i have no idea why this is because when i put the cd in it registers that its in there and you can go to a different track and do all that, but it just wont play the song. Anybody have any suggestions on whats worng with it and how can i fix it?

  1. If you cant hear the radio when you turn it on more then likely you don't have speakers. A lot of people ugrade their systems and take out the speakers when the sell them.


  2. Sounds to me as though the sound output is being cut out somehow.  Most likely it is an open wire going from the player to the speaker system.  Truthfully, if it's a '94, you might be better off just taking it to a shop and having a new player installed.

  3. i see  this on occassions the radio works fine the cd player will recognize the cd,the problem usually is the cd player motor has quit working ,also some cd players are so picky they will not play burned cd's
