  1. Is this the error message you're getting?

    "Error 1904.Module

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\Fla... failed to register.

HRESULT -2147220473. Contact your support personnel."

If so, it's nothing to do with 4OD.  It's problems with your browser. There seems to be two ways of dealing with it (according the the Adobe Forums).

One is to  edit your registry .  If you're confident at doing that, open up Regedit and try this advice from the forums:

"Use Regedit to change the permissions for the following HK_CLASSES_ROOT keys:

    FlashFactory.FlashFactory

    FlashFactory.FlashFactory.1

    FlashProp.FlashProp

    FlashProp.FlashProp.1

    ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash

    ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.1

    ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.3

    ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.4

    ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.5

    ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.6

    ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.7

    ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.8

If you get Access Denied (as I did) you may need to log in to the same account that originally installed Flash (this worked for me). I gave full access to the Administrators Group. After that I just re-installed Flash Player 9 and Bob's your uncle (I didn't bother uninstalling first)."

The other way is to try switching from Internet Explorer to Firefox and setting up Flash Player through that.

  2. I could never get it to work either, I just use ov guide instaed now.
