I had a picture with them on my hand, so you can get a better idea of what I mean, but it won't download.

This is what they look like: http://img211.imageshack.us/my.php?image=chromevd6.jpg

I'm sure they are effective in a fight, but trying to get a direct blow seems a little hard.

For example, from the weight, and feel of it ... it's likely that I could punch a hole in a car window. Of course I'd risk cutting my hand too ~haha ... I don't plan on doing that, it's just my way of explaining this tool.

For some reason, when holding them ... and directly hitting my hand, I don't feel the tips of them.

Maybe they are just made for that extra weight, and I guess extra powerful punch, but they don't seem too damaging. Perhaps it's my imagination.

I know they are illegal, I'm not taking them out my house.

Can someone explain the correct way of using brass knuckles, and give me a story behind them ?

  1. The weight adds mass to your fist and the metal provides protection for your hand. Many people who have these things do not understand the fact that if they are used your probably going to kill your opponent. So, good Luck in prison if you decide to show off with them.

  2. First of all my friend chrome and or Brass knuckles are not legal at least not in my area. To be honest and no disrespect meant brass and chrome knuckles are a cheap shot in defensive terms if you are that worried about your punching force you really need to train on a heavy or makiwara bag to add strenght to your punching ability you don't need illegal weapons easily hidden to defend your self you are asking about this to individuals who practice Martial Arts and if they feel the same as me they will tell you there is no honor in brass or chrome knuckles in honest combat. Don't get me wrong I feel the same about all things of this sort knives etc...

Please dont take this the wrong way It's just how I feel.
