My Computer Just Got Hacked?

Hello. I work at a School and two boys managed to gain my Administrator's password to gain access to the school server(not the local computer). They are in serious trouble. the only problem is, i dont know how they got access to the server, as it requires a log-in when you turn the PC on? they have their own accounts but they are restricted.Im guessing they used a program? Any ideas?

There are a couple of programs out there that claim they can hack a Administrator password.

I will not offer the name or link here for obvious reasons.

However, the programs can not get a password with 16 characters or more.

I once tried doing this with a hardware key-logger placed between the keyboard jack and the PS/2 port. You might want to check that.

They probably just saw you type in the admin users name and pass.. Either that, or they snuck onto your computer and installed a KeyLogger while you were already logged in..

most likely didn't use any programs as most school student accounts disable software installation, the students if smart found the user directory and or got on an already logged in computer and gave themselves access. Or most teachers that are not Computer savy like to write down passwords.
