My Computers Not Starting!?

I have a Emachines computer about 2 years old passed down to me by my dad.Everythings been fine with it until about a week ago it started acting strange, i was in the middle of playing the sims 2 when the screen turned itself off and refused to show anything so i turned the computer off manually and turned it on again and it was fine Then last night i came home and started the computer up and started the sims when it just turned itself off the screen and the box. So i checked if all the cables were properly plugged in and stuff both ends and they were fine so i turned it on again but the screen came up with 'no input detected' which was weird because it was all connected and it started beeping loads, so i turned it off and on again but this time no beeping but still no screen. I did this about another two times and it was a sort of patern with the beeping and not. The fans and stuff are working fine and its not very dusty and not overeated. I confused and really need help!

Beep Beep means Computa Not Happy......clean and check whatever you can. Try to start it. If it fails remove RAM cards one at a time restarting after each removal. Replace any faulty RAM or discard and do without it if your PC runs ok on the memory you leave in.

Open your unit and reseat the ram card, clean contacts if necessary.
