  1. St. Jessica

    Feastday: May 24

Jessica is a derivation of Joanna. Joanna was the wife of Chuza, steward of King Herod Antipas, tetrarch of Galilee. She was one of the women who helped provide for Jesus and the Apostles and was one of the three women who discovered the empty tomb of Jesus on the first Easter morning. Her feast day is May 24th.

There are several saints named Juliana, but none named Julieanna:

    St. Juliana of Nicomedia

    St. Juliana Falconieri

    St. Juliana of Cumae

    St. Juliana of Norwich

    St. Juliana of Pavilly

    St. Marcella

    Feastday: January 31

Marcella was a Roman matron. She was widowed after nine months of marriage, refused to marry Cerealis, the consul, and formed a group of noble ladies to live a life of austerity and asceticism. She was tortured by the Goths looting Rome in 410 to force her to reveal the whereabouts of her wealth, which she had long since given to the poor, was released, but died shortly after, in August. She had a correspondence with St. Jerome in which ahe answered queries she put to him about spiritual matters. Her feast day is January 31st.

I think you should pick one that best fits your personality. A woman you would want to emulate.

  2. Shouldn't you choose a name with some kind of... you know, religious meaning? Read up on some of the women in the Bible. You are never really going to use this name, so there's no point in trying to pick one that sounds cool or what ever.

  3. I would throw out one other possibility. Have you considered Cabrini? Mother Frances Cabrini was an exceptionally important woman and  the first American to be canonized. She led the way in civil rights and help for the homeless long before there was a Mother Theresa or Martin Luther King.

Here's a biography on her that you might like to consider: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frances_Cab...

Besides, Christina Francesca Cabrini is a very pretty name and one that you can wear with pride...Christ, St. Francis of Assisi and Mother Frances Cabrini...very good patrons indeed.
