My DISH television program has just split into two screens?

The weirdest thing ever just happened, I was watching my DISH programming (we have the DVR set) and my screen split into two smaller screens! What's stranger, if I change the channel, the screen on the right remains the same (with no sound) but the one on the left changes (with sound).

It's like i'm watching two programs at once. How do I fix this?

Sounds as if you have two signals coming into the tv.  many of us do.  You have Picture in Picture (PIP)

Find the button on the remote and one push should do the trick. (maybe two?)
