Question:

My DS has a broken hinge?

About a month ago my Nintendo DS "snapped". It held the piece that was snapped in for a while but it has come out, so that I have to have it tilted completely flat when it's open. The hinge hasn't come off, but it's still sort of annoying. How can I fix this? Who can I take it to to fix it (I really don't prefer to repair this myself.) How much is this going to cost? Thanks

  1. Gamestop

  2. if u bought it from best buy and u have a 2 year warranty and u havent already had it 2 yrs. then take it to bestbuy with the warranty and u can get another ds free but it has to cost the same price or less

  3. The only place I would trust to get something like that fixed is either Gamestop, EB Games or, preferably, Nintendo themselves. You can talk to Gamestop or EB Games and see if they will fix it. If they refuse, then e-mail Nintendo and ask if they will repair it for you.

This may only cost you anything from 10 to 50 bucks. Sometimes they will do it for free (depending on the condition).
