My DVD player ate my dvd...?

so what do I do know.

p.s. yes it's in my DVD player. I can hear it when I shake it.

Unplug the player and open the cover, take the disc out !!!

I faced a situation where once the DVD got stuck in the player due to a power supply failure. On resuming the power supply, the player didn't see the DVD and display showed 'no disc'. I later came up with an idea. I opened the tray and inserted another disc with a paper sticker on top. Then, a couple of seconds later, I opened the tray and both the discs were there in the tray. The paper sticker even saved the disc from getting scratched.

(p.s. I didn't try shaking my player)
