My DVD player hooked to my TV HAS stopped transmitting color?

Nothing has changed, no new hook-ups or anything it just stopped working in color? It is the player in combo with the surround sound. The TV shows color just black and white with a DVD? Any ideas???

Have you checked the connections? Unplug the cables and reconnect. Sometimes they get loose. I once had a DVD player do a similar thing and even though the cables looked connected, they weren't making a good connection.
