My Dad's let me down AGAIN!

Question

Hi, I have been wanting to go shopping for about 2 weeks, and he said i could go yesterday, then when I asked him he said i could go today, now he's saying tommorow.

There's no reason why I can't go today as I'm paying with my money, so it's nothing money realated.

How can I persuade him to let me go shopping with my mum??

& ALL my friends are on holiday so I can't go with them.

Sounds a bit unfair if he has promised that he will look after your brothers and then puts it off for no apparent reason. Obviously, if something like an emergency at work came up, that would be different. Have you tried talking to him and told him how he is making you feel? Try not to get mad and lose your temper. Try and remain calm and explain how he is damaging your respect for him and his relationship with you. If not, can yo talk to your mother?

tell him you will have to go out and have unprotected s*x with complete strangers and that your being forced to because of his actions, then if he still dont - get knocked up, that will show him

if you dont let me go then i will never lern how to handle my money and will allso get angry why i never have any money b,cus asoon as i get it i go spend it then evently it will turn me to drink and drugs then you will be going to the shops in you old age and see me h**e-ing my self on an island because corners dont have enough roads coming off for what i need so in the end isnt it better to teach me how to handle my money by taking me shoping and killing my drunken , druggy , prostite before she ever gets going

go to your dad, stick the knife to your chest and tell him if he doesnt let you go today you'll kill yourself

Is he driving you? Is that why he is saying no? Does he have to drive you far? If not, then why don't you just ask can you go alone. I prefer shopping alone. You get far more done. If it's too far, take a bus or a train. Only if he allows you though, I'm not condoning sneaking out.

I dont think that you have put all of the details in here.  Why would he care if you went with your mum?  

Are you a problem child that he is trying to discipline?

If not talk to him and tell him how you feel and give him time, dont expect everything to be done the minute you want it done.
