My Dad is thinking about buying a Mcdonald restaurant so we need some help?

Go review the company's 10k statement, research other McDonald's franchise owners and their impressions about "corporate," and check out some books on owning your own business from the library (or buy them from your local B&N).

i know quite a bit about mcdonalds. the main thing is to keep it clean! i hate a dirty resteraunt. and also make sure the bathrooms are nice. and always be nice to customers. ive learned these things because we own a food service. so i know quite a bit about it.

Hmm.. I don't know a ton about this but I can give you a couple tips based on my listning from freinds that opened a cafe. You are lucky because mcdonalds already has a big name for itself, so you should get customers. The one main thing you may need to know is this. Try to find staff that have a large intrest in the job. Ones that won't suddenly quit. At these places, staffing can be a problem. Non intested people won't show up or will just quit.
