The television's working fine, as is the aerial. The digibox reports that the reception is adequate. Nevertheless, when I use the easyscan option, it finds nothing. I turned the box off and on again 2 days ago and this has been the problem ever since. Worked fine before.

  1. Make sure your scart socket is in properly and retune the box as a first time installation. You are sure the Antenna connection is ok?

  2. Are you sure that the box is still set up for the UK region? If you set it to another region it won't work.

  3. Hi there i work for a large electrical retailer and and issue at the moment is that because freeview isn't running on full power they are still making software upgrades and maintenance work on the mast's it all depends on where you live from checking today i know the belmount transmitter that is used for yorkshire is running on reduced power that is why some people are losing channels or freeview all together. the only other thing i could recommend is set it back to it's factory defaults and if all else fails then take it back to the store where you purchased it from and inform them that it is faulty.

  4. Check all connections are secure. I just took my plug out n put it back in, that fixed mine

  5. Check out the link below.

It seems that a transmitter upgrade has caused the failure of about 100,000 Freeview set-top boxes, including those made by Daewoo.

You may need a need Freeview box, I'm afraid.  But  they start from only about £15 these days.
