My Daily Running?

Why do some days when I run I feel great and the next day I run I can barely finish my run? Is it better to run every other day, 3 times a week? My normal jog is 3 miles on average.

  1. The answer before mine pretty much covers it. I'd also add that some people feel better at different times of the day. For example, some people feel much fresher running in the morning as opposed to after work or after dinner.


  2. experts agree you should take one day off per week.

    You will also feel the negative effects of a really hard run two days after.

  3. Other comments were good.....just to add you can run 5-6 times a week just don't do hard workout back to back.  When training hard one day, the next day or two, run but don't try to kill yourself pace wise.
