My Daughter Has GREAT Talent, Need Advice!?

My Daughter has a great passion, and GREAT talent for acting. She approached me recently and explained how she loved it and how she wants to take it to the next level and become a professional actress, she'd love to do movies. She has said she doesn't trust anyone with her future but me and has asked me to be her Manager, We live in the UK and are willing to travel all over but how would i go about getting my Daughter auditions and noticed by agencies?

firstly i admire your dedication to your daughters career when i first told my mom she thought i was out of my mind.

British actors are amazing because they have there accents all ready. but i suggest you put her in classes i personally am more into the theater aspect of it some thing about a crowd and one chance for lines really gets me going. your daughter needs to think of what type of actress she wants to be and where she can go from there find out what she can bring to the table and go with it. also schedule a trip to LA because opportunities and searches for the next big thing are always on the look out there.

First off, remember: Even though you are her manager, you are still her mother. I'm going to make that clear now, because I've seen too many parents mistreat their children to get them to the top.

Now that that's out of the way, I know of some agencies. They are very exclusive and hard to get into, but if she works hard she could make it.

I, too, am an aspiring actress. I'm not a professional quite yet, but I have enough experience in the field to help you with a few things.

The first thing that needs to be dealt with is experience. Plays are definantly a good start, and acting classes can't hurt.

Has she been in any school plays, acted in local threaters, etc?

Next, agencies. Here are some big-name agencies that support acting talent:

SIMMONS AND SCOTT ENT.

Remember: These are very professional agencies. You're best bet is to find a local agency.

search for  agencies in ur area. try using google. make sure shes not too young and no criminal records.  make sure you go with her to the agencies.
