  1. The ONLY thing that will dissolve nail polish is acetone.  If that does not work than nothing else will.  Good luck!

  2. Nail varnish remover, dab dont wipe/

or let it dry and pick or cut it off.

  3. I'm agreeing with what was posted above.  Pure acetone.  You can get big bottles of it at a Sally Beauty Supply.

  4. When I was a kid I got it on something.  My Mom used hairspray on it.  Not sure how that works but it sure did come out. (canned hairspray, not sure if it makes a difference)

  5. don't forget to wear gloves when working with acetone or other hazardous materials.

  6. The only thing that might get the nail polish out of the carpet is ACETONE and  you will want to apply it to the carpet and blot it off and repeat and let it sit on the polish for a min or so and do it all over again to see if it might be getting it out , you can get the acetone at wal mart , they have it in the sscetion where the nail polish is , and also they have acetone in the paint department , I get my acetone at the dollar store sometime dollar general but i have found that you can get a 12 oz bottle at family dollar for one dollar , bigger bottle will be needed to try and get it out of the carpet though , and i wish you good luck on doing so

  7. Try carpet cleaners that say they get nail polish out.  Also, I have used 409 the lemon kind that you use for the kitchen. (really it worked) DAB, DONT WIPE!!!!

Be careful about using acetone, even though it will get the polish up, it can ruin your carpet, if its too strong it will eat the carpet away, but it may also fade the carpet...
