My Dell Dimension 4700C Will Not Let Me Log Onto My UserName?

Question

whenever i try to log onto my username a box pops up to telling me that something is wrong and it won't let me log on and it tells me to contact my system administrator? i can't do that because my warranty is up. i do not want to lose all of my pictures and music and such. i can log onto the other two usernames on my desktop, but not mine.

anyway to fix this?

any advice is appreciated.

Sounds relay bad.....

Ok this will work for you.

you have to log in safe mode to do that restart the computer and as soon as it stars up (black screen and all) tap on the F8(some computers its different might be F12) key just keep on tapping it till it beeps like crazy then stop,it might not go crazy.then some thing will come up asking you what you wont to do you choose SAFE MODE..then it will have a lot of number letters and so on....then when the long on screen comes on,it might look A little blurry or ugly.anyway you choose you wont to log in as the ADMINISTRATOR,,,,Not mom administrator or what ever.ADMINISTRATOR...then when it logs in go to the START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/SYSTEM TOOLS/SYSTEM RES TOR..now once your there you have to go back and restore to a date before all them bad things happen..it will bring your computer all back to that date you pick...

That can also be done useing the administrator user name on that computer.
