My Denon DRA-397 receiver says

My Denon DRA-397 receiver says "not connect" in the cd mode and will not play a cd. I was just playing a cd a few minutes ago. Then I hit a few buttons on the receiver trying to see what they do and now it just says not connect. I'm not sure what I did. Help! Thanks!
