My Destination hot favourite for Mirror Punters Club Median Auction Maiden Stakes at Wolverhampton
My Destination has finally attained an ideal opportunity to register his first victory. Mahmood Al Zarooni’s high status trainee will be in action in the Mirror Punters Club Median Auction Maiden Stakes, set to take place at
Wolverhampton on Thursday, April 12, 2012.
The three-year-old started off his career in September last year, when he was unable to produce an impressive performance. Yet, the Godolphin-owned did not lose his determination and came up with an improved performance in his
subsequent outing.
On October 14, the maverick runner missed the top spot by one and a quarter lengths in the TRC Maiden Stakes at Haydock.
He might never live up to his memorable pedigree, but he has guts to do well. Since none of his rivals in good rhythm, My Destination has an obvious chance to stand first.
The 1m4f50y event is scheduled to commence at 19:25 GMT. In pursue of a cash prize of £2,264, My Destination will compete with Natasha Rostova, Green Mitas and Daisy Daze.
Natasha Rostova is the biggest threat to My Destination. The three-year-old belongs to a good family and is a part of Andrew Balding’s yard. In today’s contest, she will be ridden by David Probert, who is well capable of springing
up a surprise.
Green Mitas is struggling with his form these days. The three-year-old made his debut in February, when he could only seize fifth place on the chart.
In his recent race, he displayed a similar show. Horse And Sports Tips @ relayman.com Median Auction Maiden Stakes saw him finishing fifth on the chart in mid March.
Daisy Daze’s chances are not bright at all. The four-year-old is yet to prove her mettle. After making a dismal debut in December last year, the filly did not improve her work and fell eighth in the Harrison Marquees Standard
Open National Hunt Flat Race at Hereford.
My Destination is most likely to dominate the proceedings. If he manages to control Natasha Rostova’s skills, it would be an easy triumph for the bay colt. No matter who wins, it is going to be an entertaining show.
