My Directv DVR won't rewind?

Question

It won't rewind real time like it usually does. It will only rewind on recordings or if I'm recording the show I'm watching at the time. Anyone know how to fix this?

you should call direct tv..

many times these "weird"behaviors are caused due to a bad software update, try disconecting your DVR from power cord for about a minute or two, once you reconect, the DVR will auto update, let it update, can take up to 10 minutes.
