My family just moved to Russia, and my dog just arrived separately after my dad had him stay in a Pet Hotel, I guess... anyways he's about 5 years old, a Miniature Schnauzer, and he's yelping out of nowhere, like he's acting fine and then if you get near him sometimes he'll yelp, and after that he starts limping or he may not even move for like half an hour. Ive examined his paws, about everywhere but he yelps sometimes when you touch him somewhere but later he won't. I'm trying to find an English speaking vet ASAP, but its taking some time. Does anybody know whats wrong, it would really help me stress-wise, I mean he is my best friend...

  1. He may or may not have been injured during the move. Also, where he was boarded something may have happened.

You could also attribute the behavior to trauma. Has he ever been moved like this before? He could still be in shock, which can last for several days sometimes longer. Causing the dog to yelp out of nowhere, and become stiff.

I would definitely talk with a Vet. Hope you find one that speaks english.
