My Dog just ate playdoh!!!

My four pound Chihuahua just are a golf ball sized ball of playdoh!! Has anyone ever had this happen, do you think she will be ok or do I need to take her to the vet???? Thanks!!!!!

It's actually ok for kids to eat, but I'd call a 24-hour vet clinic in your area to make sure there's nothing in that could hurt your dog.

Watch her.  If she's acting lethargic, not pooping or eating, then take her to the vet.  Playdoh is non-toxic, made mostly from flour and Borax so it's unlikely she will have too much trouble except for her size.   In other words it's like she ate 4 stir and roll biscuits, which might give her a bad tummy ache but she should walk away from it.

take her to the vet she'll have her stomack pumped thats all she will be fine but take her she wont be able to go to the toilet because the playdoh is to think she is very small so her stomack wont be able to handle it, she'll be good as new when she's had her tum pumped.

my king charles did the same thing she's ok now just a little tied from the stomack pumping, they'll stuff there face with food after a few hours

i ate play-doh...nothings wrong with me...but i think you should still take the dog to the vet

Read the cautions on the label.

If it says its bad for humans, its also bad for dogs.

I don't believe it is poison or anything.
