I put my laundry in the dryer before and when I went outside for a walk, i noticed there is no air coming out of the vent. Why is this? i know that can be VERY dangerous. It is an electric dryer. I also noticed that when we used the dryer alot the humidity in the house rose to about 62% which is high. We havent used it for a while until today and now the humidity is 43% which is normal. I dont get it?! lol

  1. I agree.vent must be clogged up or vent has come loose.

  2. 1st did you check to see if dryer is actually heating   then the other ansewers  are good but for everyone  you should clean out all dryer vents at least once a year  clogged vents are a source of fires   also those ribbed flexy tubes are the worst  should always use smooth metal vents

  3. Your tube that is attached to the dryer either has came off or there is a clog in it.
