My E-Machine is not even

My E-Machine is not even a year old and it has given me the "BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH" as I have heard it called. I tried to recover my previous stuff to a certain date. It still blue screened me. So then i was going to just format the entire computer. But now for some reason I can't get it to load from the dvd/cd rom drive. If I do F8 advanced options.... I still get blue screened. I'm at my wits end. The only option I see right now is to use my recovery disk and format computer... but my stinking machine won't load from dvd/cd drive. I have changed BIOS settings to load from that drive but it still won't do. HELP PLEASE before my e-machine finds itself e-victed.
