My EFC for Fasfa is 20856. Around How much am I going to pay for a school?

I just got my efc code and its 20856, my schools tuition and room and board is around 26-27k and I live in NJ but the school is in Cali. Does anyone know estimated how much I am going to have to pay?

26 to 27K each year for the next four years, (minus any scholarships you get).  With an EFC this high you are not likely to qualify for any need based grants like the Pell.  The max loan you can take out as an undergrad depends on your grade level and if you have to put your parents info down on the fafsa.  Here is a chart to help you determine how much you can borrow.  Usually dependents can borrow 3,500 per year as freshman.

Good luck... seriously consider an instate school if your folks aren't going to make up the 22K difference.... AGAIN for the next 4 years.  My folks would never pay 88K for me... hope yours are different

you will need to pay around 21,000 per year out of your pocket-more or less.  you wont get any grants but you may be eligible for some loans or scholarships
