Okay, so I sprayed Lysol dysinfectant around the house, and didn't realize that it was scented and now it's overpowering and icky.

I opened a few windows and started the vent in the kitchen, but it's STILL there. Is there something quick & easy that I can cook to mask it??? Thanks.

  1. try spraying some like febreeze or oust

    idk

  2. toss out the lysol and open the windows.  the scent is more inside of your nasal passages than in the home, so consider a shower where you blow your nose a few times.

  3. fish

  4. basically all you can do is wait a bit for the smell to eventually go away , don't try and cover it up with anything else or it will be even worse! =]

  5. There was a recent study suggesting that manufacturers are putting phthalates into vinyl plastic (polyvinyl chloride, i.e. PVC) in order to soften them in such common household items as shower curtains.

The phthalates are toxic and the researchers strongly recommend keeping the windows open until the smell isn't as strong.

Everyone should probably be opening all their windows in general much more often.

Especially from five to six in the morning . . . when it's relatively cool.
