Question:

My Elbow cracks when I work out. It's really annoying.

I work out alot, as I should. I do MMA at a very competitive level. So of course, I need to stay in the best shape I can. So this is what will happen to me. I'll get all pumped up, ready to work out, get on the ground to do Push ups. Do one rep, BAM. My right elbow cracks. It doesn't hurt, doesn't anything, just annoys the c**p out of me and completely throws me off my rhythm. Same when I bench press. I know I have TMJ in my jaw, but what I tried looking up has nothing to do with elbows. I asked my doctor, and he said it was nothing. All I can find on here is "stop exercising/working out" and that's simply not a option for me. Anyone know what I can do to stop it? It's extremley annoying. Please, help!

  1. The exact same d**n thing happens to me doing squats and during girl on top s*x but with my knee. I don't think it has anything to do with your TMJ, just the same thing as cracking knuckles. A little bit of air slips and creates that -pop- noise that you hear when you flex the joint a certain way.

Irritates the h**l out of me too.

  2. take calcium pills it may br ur bones but the cracking u hear is the same thing u hear win nuckels r cracked crabon dioxide buids up between joints and when pressure is applied they pop
