My Facebook account has been disabled- how can I get it working again?

Question

My account was temporarily disabled due to posting and sending too many of the same message. Since then I have checked on my sister's profile and it appears that my account has been deleted and all the groups that I was part of have been left vacant. I am tempted to set-up another account but know that is against the rules too.

Any ideas? I have emailed Facebook a number of times already

Unfortunately, even if one reads the Terms & Conditions, besides the occasionally impenetrable legalese, one DOES NOT get to know all the HIDDEN rules/parameters with which facebook monitors your account activity. So, quite unwittingly one might break a rule, such as the repetitive use of a feature, particularly at the early learning stages, because every facebook feature may not necessarily be easily intuitive/graspable. And facebook DOES NOT give you a transparent answer/guidance either. They should have the common courtesy to guide a novice user to help him/her avoid such mistakes in future, instead of making us second-guess  --  as these columns amply indicate.

You might try going through the registration process with the same info.  It might be so kind as to pick some info left behind by your deleted account.  If not the most it would do is tell you the email is being used.

It might take a couple of days for the Admin to answer your email. In case you cannot get it back, like what happened to me, well, unfortunately you need to do it all over again. Next time, just make sure you read their Terms of Service more carefully which is not many users doing it. So, unfortunate mistakes can be avoided.

why would it be against the rules to make another account as you haven't got two account's cause your original facebook account has been deleted i don't think its against the rules cause if it was it still wouldn't give you an option to make an account.it hasn't happened to me so i couldn't tell you.soz

All you can do is wait for a few days,maybe even a week or too,because you will get your account back,you have just been temporarily banned,because they need to look over your messages,and make sure that you were not trying to send out spam,that's all.

And as long as it wasn't spam,you shouldn't be worried.
