If royalty came back to France, I might be gentleborn, but no marquess (my mom's cousin has the title), and certainly no royal.

Unless your claims are a bit stronger, you'd better just forget it. Are you the elder male heir in an unbroken line? Younger sons or indirect descendants don't get titles.

No. I doubt they'd ever bring back a monarchy and they wouldn't re-instate titles like that. Titles are usually earned, so what have you done to deserve it? Also, I assume you're not from Austria because it isn't Austria-Hungary any more!
