I'm part Irish, and my SO believes he's Irish / Scotish, so I'm very drawn to Gaelic names. I've gathered my favorite Gaelic boy names, and I need help making combinations out of them. First and Middle would be lovely. But if you could manage First and two Middles, I'd love you forever.

Pronunciations are including, for those who are not familiar with the Gaelic language and pronunciation of syllables.

  1. Shawn Brady Dougal

    Seamus Nolan Boyd

    Sullivan Dougal Eamonn

    Quillan Lennox Doyle

    Ewan Gallagher Brogan

I love a lot of your names. Gaelic names are lovely.

  2. As a descendant of Alasdair MacDonald, (Also known as Alexander MacDonnell in Ireland),the first chief of Clan MacAlister,I suggest Alasdair Donal. It's Scottish and Irish. It doesn't get more Gaelic than that.

  3. I like Cohen Lennox. I also reeally like Sullivan, but I can't think of anything to go with it, sorry.

Please don't use Brogan, it sounds just like Bogan! :[

  4. Keagan Lennox

    Kendrick Rowan Doyle

Good luck! Best of health to you and baby

  5. Alasdair Cael

Rowan too, though not with Eamonn, too much rhyming :P

    Rowan Connor

    Rowan Connolly

    Eamonn Gallagher

    Sullivan Lennox (or vice versa)

  7. I like all variations for Teagan (Tee-Gun or Tie gan) Teagan,Tadghan, Tegan,Teighan,Teaghan for a boy. This name means wise poet attractive and is derived from the male names Teague and Tadhg. Perfect name for a boy.

  8. Delaney Rowan Gallagher

    Lennox Sullivan Keelan

  9. Conan Delaney sounds fab!

  10. Seamus Lachlan

    Ewan Boyd

  11. Just so you know in case it makes a difference to you,  a lot of the names you have listed are surnames and are not commonly used as first names in Ireland.

I also notice that you have some names spelt in Irish, and some anglicised. Would you consider maybe Seán instead of Shawn, etc?

Individually, my favourte names are Shawn, and Kieran. I like Tadhg, but not Tadhgan. Tadhg is the more common name in ireland. I've actually not seen the name Tadhgan before. I think Rowan is a really nice name too.

As for combos, i would suggest...

    Seán Oscar Rowan

    éamonn Oscar Cael

    Kieran Seán Ceallach

  12. Shawn Sullivan Boyd

  13. Shawn Delaney Lennox

    Rowan Boyd Tadghan

    Keegan Seamus Brady

    Cohen Oscar Brolly

    Kendrick Ewan Doyle

    Lachlann Shawn Cael

  14. Kendrick Oscar Boyd

    Lennox Nolan Boyd :)

    Doyle Cael Boyd

  18. brogan doyle gallagher

  19. First off, I'd like to recommend that you stick with an easy-to-pronounce first name (unless you are living somewhere where everybody knows the pronunciations, it is best to stick with an easy-to-pronounce first name and save the others for middle names... IMO that is!)

OK, now to the fun part:

    Kendrick Nolan Boyd

    Sullivan Lachlann Doyle

    Delaney Tadghan Alasdair

    Lennox Oscar Connolly

Personally, I would be happy using just one celtic name, and using other parts of my life to supply the other names...

    HTH :-)

  20. Wow, those are some very nice names. My favorite is Rowan, but I am sort of biased as my cousin has a 9 month-old named Rowan.

    My suggestions:

    Rowan Lachlann Gallagher

    Oscar Sullivan Delaney

    Nolan Cohen Boyd

My favorite would be Rowan Lachlann Gallagher. Good luck!

  21. I LOVE Gaelic names!!

    Ewan Gallagher Nolan

    Sullivan Cael Connolly

    Lachlann Alasdair Boyd

    Eamonn Shawn Kendrick
