Question:

My Finger is Turning Green?

i bought a 1.00 ring at Point Pleasant,NJ when i was on vacation and it is really cool

The Problem is that when i take it off, my finger is green

Can some one tell me why this happens or how to stop it?

  1. You're probably just slightly alergic to nickel. The same thing happens to me. Try putting a clear coat of nail pollish around the inside of it. It wears off pretty easily, but you can just keep putting more on if you really love the ring i guess.


  2. I think you're doing too much gardening.

  3. The ring has nickle in it.  You must be allergic to nickle.  I turn green too when I wear something with nickle in it too.

  4. It is a cheap ring made from cheap metal. That's why your finger changes color. You might try coating the inside of the ring with several coats of clear fingernail polish, that may help it to stop making your finger green.

  5. it's made from some cheap base metal and it's reacting with the acidity in your sweat and making your finger go green.

  6. don't wear the ring :)

  7. The ring was not made from alloys that were hypo allergetic. Cheap metals cause this type of skin reaction. You can stop the green finger by NOT wearing the ring. I'd take it back to the place that sold it to you and ask for a refund if you paid a lot for it!
