My First Apt. --?

Hey -- I am getting my first apartment. What cleaning supplies should I get or what do you recommend?

You will need either dish soap or dishwasher detergent, according to whether or not you have a dishwasher.

Something to clean the kitchen: counters, stove, etc... You can buy a product for this, or use household products like vinegar, borax and water.Likewise cleaning the bathroom-something for the toilet bowl, something for the shower and counters. A broom and dust pan. A mop and mop bucket. A cleaner for mopping (again you can buy a commercial product, or use vinegar and water or borax and water.)

Baking soda works for many things, including a carpet deodorizer.  Laundry detergent. A vacuum cleaner. Sponges or cleaning cloths.

Broom, trash bags, some sort of spray cleaner, and always keep paper towels around. Always. Those disinfectant wipes are handy too.

when i moved into mine i got the usual dish soap, soft scrub for the bathtub and toilet bowl cleaner, a mop, broom, Windex, pledge, Lysol for the floors and i also got a carpet deodorizer cause you never know.
