  1. Just remember that it will be with you FOR-EV-ER.  Make it count, mean something and easy to conceal under a short sleeved shirt.  The tat may be cool today, but when you are 40 something with a family...will it still be cool?  Double think the ink......from an inked professional with regrets.

    God bless you.

  2. Dont get one at all. Unless you REALLY feel that it means somthing.

I have 6 or more freinds that regret getting tattos.

  3. Is their a team or school that you participate in track and field with? If so That could be incorporated into you inking. Or a unique way of tattooing an actual track.

  4. get something that will mean something to you in your whole life time.

  5. do a half sleeve!!!

  6. sprinter's blocks

    something with a finish line

    incorporate the track

This is off the top of my head.  What is it about sprinting that excites you?  Do you have any memorable moments?  If you run for a college, think about incorporating school colors or logo.  If you are in high school, I'd wait until you are sure you are running track in college before putting the ink in.

Take your ideas, pics, etc, to a tattoo artist and they will help you by putting together a great idea for the tat.  You always have the final say as you will be the one wearing it forever, but they (the good ones) know what they are talking about and how to do a good tat.

Hope that helps.  Good luck and happy tatting!!

  7. Search for tattoo flash and see what you can find. Go to a tattoo artist and brainstorm with them. The Greek God Achilles comes to mind.
