  1. as anybody put petrol in ? if it started today it could be temperature change last night , is it on a gear change or start up ?

  2. Black smoke means too much fuel - could be a dirty air filter, clogged injectors or diesel pump incorrectly adjusted.

If it's a newer electronic injection diesel (TDCi), then get it checked out at any garage, but if it's using no oil, I wouldn't worry unduly.

  3. sounds like the rings are getting worn.butyou could put some injection cleaner in the fuel. dont bother with redex though ..theres one called cataclean or something like that its about £15

  4. If it does it more when driving and not much at idle, your turbo might be having problems.
