And she asked me if I wanted a bunny but I need to convince my parents that I am responsible enough to look after the bunny and that I won't just make my parents look after it. I really want a rabbit. How shall I convince them?

  1. First i know exactly how you feel,

i wanted a rabbit so much i practically beg my mum + dad on my knees

to be honest i thought i would make my parents look after the rabbits

but i care for them so much i clean, feed, let it have a run around,

there so easy to look after for

i have to rabbits now, however there different breeds so they fight,

    so we have 2 hutches

boy rabbits are fine on there own

girls tend to get lonely, but if you get the same breed two girls will be fine and not lonely.

its fine to get one rabbit but it wont be as happy, as it loves company

    hope i helped you

  2. The best way to get your parents to say yes is to admit that you will need their help caring for the rabbit. Admitting that will show you are being honest. Research as much as you can about the rabbit and how to take care of it. The more intelligent you are about your choice will show them that your interest not just a fleeting one. Also don't let your friend pressure to you take a rabbit just because her babies need homes. If your parents say no, then your friend should respect that and still want to be friends with you.

Yes one rabbit can get lonely, but you have to know that rabbits are very picky about who they will get along with. Rabbits who don't like each other will fight and they can die from stress. Each rabbit would have to be neutered or spayed to get along, and even then there is no guarentee that they will. Any unaltered rabbit will fight with another rabbit, even if they are two females or two males. They might get along when they are babies, but when they become teenagers everything changes. Spaying or neutering cost around $100 each so consider that when asking your parents. They might not want to pay for that on top of all the other expenses. Your rabbit will need a house, food, hard wood to chew, and shelter. You have to care for your rabbit on a daily basis, you can't just pile a bunch of food in there if you go to a friends house for the weekend or longer and expect your bunny to be ok. The avereage life span of a well cared for rabbit is 8 years.

  3. That is false

A rabbit WILL  get lonely but that is only is you don't spend time with it and handel it

A rabbit may like it better if he has a friend

But he wont be an angry bunny if he doesnt just look after it and handel it regullary

    Keepp asking and moping about

    < That works for me

    good luck

  4. Do you know any secrets about them that you could blackmail them with?

As in "let me have the rabbit Dad or I'll tell Mum about........"

  5. tell them what will you do to take care of them, and if don't know how, have a research in the internet or elsewhere and then tell them what you think you will do.

  6. First, you actually have to see if your parents like rabbits.

My mum hates rabbits, rats etc so I could never get one.

Do some research on the internet about rabbits, learn about rabbits before talking about it to your parents.

They will be more impressed if you know your stuff...

    Good Luck

  7. defo false im a rabbit breeder and that dosent happen oh pretend youre not boverd im working on a toitoise

  8. prove to your parents your responsible , do your research into what thye need, cost etc, insurance. maybe help look after your friends rabbit and learn from her? or volunteer at a rabbit rescue or soemthing

  9. A rabbit will get lonely if you ignore it. Two females can live together. DON'T get a male and female, because they WILL continuously have many babies every few weeks and NO ONE wants a pet rabbit so you CANNOT give them away; and the male will continuously rape the female and she will go bald on the back and die of starvation from all the babies she has to raise. Two males cannot live together, they will fight, castrate each other , they kill the other. Also, males spray EVERYWHERE and are extremely messy so you cannot keep them inside the house with everything becoming covered in white 'liquid".

  10. well firstly learn to cook it helps...

  11. i dont know how to convince them, i convinced my mum first because she was much more likely to let me have one, then my mum convinced my dad.

I have a rabbit on his own atm, and he seems to be ok, i'm getting one of his kids off my friend though.
