My Friend's v****a smells really bad, especially when shes on her period, what does that mean?

she has her own yahoo answers but she was to embarrassed to ask herself. she also tends to be very itchy sown there.

please- no stupid answers. this is a serious question.

pads can cause itching, and i don't know  why she is smelly, maybe she needs to change them more often, or maybe she has a yeast infection too,  it could be an allergic reaction to the pad, causing itchiness.

i know is serious question, i suggest she gets a vaginal cream for the itchy, and is nothing to be ashamed she could also have an infection

some people just have a stronger smell down there than others... mine doesnt smell alot but when i get my period its pretty rank, but if its really bad i suggest to go see a doctor

this is nothing serious, she probably just has a yeast infection because those are the normal symptoms. tell her to buy something at the store for it and it will go away in less than a week. if it doesnt go away, she should probably see her doctor or gynacologist. hope everything works out!

same things hapen to me.

to stop it i have to shower 2-3 times a day, putting clean knickers on afterwards. it tends to help the smell. the itching doesnt go away though ..

but i dont think much of it?
