My Friends Never Are Open To My Crushes?!?

I'm g*y, and everyone knows. It's no secret. But when my friends are all gossiping about hot boys and their potential flaws, I feel left out. Sometimes, I'll say something that confesses a crush or points out an attractive person, and all my friends look at me funny and say "Uh-huh, whatever, you're the expert," then continue with the boy talk. And when they talk about whether boys like them, they refuse to even acknowledge my crushes as well. HELP!!!

I know they are your friends but it sounds like you need to find more friends that are more sensitive to you and your needs,

and if you find some that share the some of your feelings too, that's always a plus.

or you could take the alternative route and share your feeling with them, Good friends should pick up on your feelings at times and know when to stop something uncomfortable to a person in a group, but they obviously don't.

So tell how you feel and see what happens from there, only then you can learn if those who you where calling friends are your real friends.... :)

It sounds to me like your friends don't respect the fact that you are g*y! Like they are rude to you and treat you differently. Tell them straight out that you don't like the way they treat you about your crushes. And tell them that you listen to them talk about the guys that they think are attractive! If they won't listen then maybe try to find some L*****n or bisexual just friends. Not people that you want to date but people that seem like good friends. Maybe even bring some bisexuals or lesbians into your friends' group. See what happens.

ask them, they sound like they dont really respect the fact that your g*y and want to share in on who you find attractive.

ask them if it makes them feel uncomfortable, if they dont want to discuss it, find new friends.
