My G1 Extreme airgun doesnt fire?

hi,

ive recently bought a G1 Extreme airgun, but the damned thing doesnt fire. Ive gone over the manuals a cuople of times and i think ive done everything correct.

- i ****** it

- put in a pellet.

- put safety off

- pulled the trigger

but nothing happens. Just nothing.

Am i forgetting something? (does the scope have to be on to fire? i have mounted it yet because i first wanted the gun to work)

Do i need some oil? something else? im not sure what to do.

Is it break-barrel?

Make sure you have it popped up all the way and you ARE c.oc.king it all the way down until it moves freely right?

Air gun?  What do you use for air?  Pump it up or use a cartridge?

make sure u c**k it all the way until u hear a click, these are hard to c**k the first couple times, mine took about 10 minutes to figure out how to break the barrel down lol
