this band is japanese and they really inspire one of my fav songs from them is My generation but i dont know the meaning of the story anyone tell me?

I believe the song is either about her dreaming about being hurt by someone she loved when she was 16 because I know she says something about The Night I Was Hurt By The Words "Whoever is Fine" And I Cried

then she says Don't I'm not wishing you to understand or anything

but then I think it's a battle with her 16 year old self because she says something about not wanting to lose to her 16 years or something
