My Gerbils!?

Question

they arent runing in there ball or there weel

and i dont know what to do? and they arent to old or to young or anything.but i dont know what to do is there something wrong with them? i need help!

i've gotten 2 gerbils 2 days ago they hate the wheel and they hate their running balls i suggest getting a hamster instead cause they run a LOT! lol i've had 2 gerbils and 4 hamsters im gunna get 2 hamsters in exhcange for my 2 gerbils cause gerbils arent as fun as hamsters also gerbils bite more than hamsters it seems and i dont really like the fact that they arent getting enuf exercise so im returning them for 2 dwarf hamsters (cambells russian to be exact)

Gerbils don't really like wheels, for some reason. Ask anyone who owns gerbils, theirs probably don't either. Mine never have, and I've owned about 10.

Some don't know how to use it, and some just don't like it. I've had 4 gerbils and only 2 of them could even figure it out the other 2 just don't use it. Also it depends on the type of wheel you have. I tried a mesh wheel once and they none of them ever used it. However the 2 that dor un on them DID run on the Silent Spinner. Maybe you should try one of those.

The balls are for hamster there dumb gerbil smart and like to smell things around them! and I have never see a gerbil use a wheel!

The ball is more fun for the owner than the gerbil
