One day I tried to write a songBut all the words they came out wrongI got so mad I threw my penI don’t know when I’ll try againI tried so hard some lines to shareBut all the words they go no whereSeems all these lines from a thoughtTo write them down its all for notOh what the h**l there’s more to doFor my pen and me for now we’re throughI’ll go outside and ride my bikeAnd to the park and then I’ll hikeAnd there I found a big rock wallWith scribbles there for one and allI said some thoughts that kind to mindThen someone calls me from behindA voice says if you are a poetPractice more your words don’t show itSo I read his lines as best I couldWith misspelled words this kid is goodSo how could someone half my ageBe that good command the stageAnd then he left as fast he cameLike rhyming words was just a gameI come back every now and thenHoping we meet up againI leave some lines for him to seeHe changes them he sets them free
