My Girl Anna to steal the Dubai International Airport World Trophy
An excitingly assorted line-up of twelve have registered for the Group 3 Dubai International Airport World Trophy, some with ground concerns and yet more with possibilities of proving their improved form through the five furlong and thirty-four yards. Coming at terms with the third position was, Judge ‘n Jury.
Before this she ended fifth in the Group 3 tyregiant.com Summer Stakes on 13th July, 2012 at York over six furlongs. The race was won by, Gracia Directa.
My Girl Anna has drawn the first gate, and will become the mount of jockey, Rory Cleary.
Another threatening potential in the field is the four-year-old bay gelding, Ballista. The Irish gelding was unstoppable in the last two attempts and is bidding for a hat-trick through the graded event today.
The Tom Dascombe trained won the Manchester Airport Handicap on 1st September, 2012 at Chester over 5 ½ furlongs. Riding with jockey, Franny Norton, Ballista won the race by the margin of four lengths.
His next winning stop was the Betfair Commits £40 Million To British Racing Conditions Stakes on 11th September, 2012 at Leicester over five furlongs. This time the bay gelding won the race with jockey, Richard Kingscote, by the margin of 2 ¼ lengths.
