I lived in downtown Toronto not to long ago. As I was walking to the subway, I walked onto Yonge Street. Garbage collection was going on, and the restaurants had put out thier piles of garbage for collection. Piles of garbage 3-4 feet high. Most of them were leaking 'stuff' that looked like puke. It was a hot morning about 28C (85F) and the garbage was surrounded all sorts of insects, maggots and rats rotten vegetables and meats. The smell was a mixture of rotting garbage, urine, and pollution, it made me gag, my eyes water and you couldn't escape it. It smelled like an open sewer, like 300 people had vomited on the street before after drinking all day. I was actually gagging on the smell and welcomed getting into the subway, which is saying something.

when you work at a fish shop you have your lunch break by the bin with the fish heads and you cannot even smell chicken/lettuce/mayo deep within the alley of dead rotting fish.....

Well, this winter it snowed so much that we didn't have time to pick up my dogs droppings. It snowed on top of them and then we couldn't find them. This spring, once the snow melted, my lawn was covered in **** and I had to pick it all up. It smelt like... (this may be TMI but you asked for it!)like.... like a public bathroom filled with overflown toilets! It was DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

Also, what stank really bad was when Fat Bastud from Austin Powers farted. I know, it's impossible to smell, but just the sound made me gag.

I worked at a hog processing plant once. The worst smell is the cross between rendering (all the "left over parts" including stomach contents abscesses and such are cooked down to a greenish brown "stew") and hog c**p on the guy next to you eating his lunch with all that sh** dripping off his arms because he was to lazy or just liked the smell to wash it off. Add the heat and a little underarm odor and there you have it. The most disgusting smell EVER! If that don't make you gag nothing will.

when my dog rolled in something in the bush it was the foulest smell I have ever encountered.I do odour counteractant sprays for fire,pet and dead people(old person died in July rent paid for 2 months body found mid August just bones and liquefied body on the bed what a indescribable stench) well what my dog rolled in was even worse.
