My Golf Mojo?

How do I get my golf mojo back. I keep chunking it, hitting it off the toe with my irons and slicing my drives. Also I can only hit my woods 70 yards when I can hit it 150 plus.

  1. Lessons

  2. Forget about lessons as somebody recommended. You sound like someone who knows how to golf, but are going through a temporary golf crisis.

It could be your state of mind (stress or other personal problems not associate with golf.)

Whatever the reason, you have to go back to the basics. Check your grip, setup position, ball position, and what you remember about your golf swing. Don't try to hit the ball too hard. Maintain the same swing speed from backswing to folllow through. Keep your eyes on the ball and stay focused.

    You'll do okay.

  3. You are done - once it is gone, it is gone.  Think about taking up tennis or fishing.

  4. When everything goes south, start over with the basics. If only one or two things are awry, then focus on those things. Start with the worst problem first and overcome that one thing. Don't try to solve the whole game at one time.

  5. slow down your backswing..tempo, tempo, tempo...keep head down, shift weight  at the start of the backswing to the front foot. Don't try to crush the ball.
